We made the paper...

We trekked to a galaxy far far away aka Woodland, CA Friday night to the Gibson House to do one of my fav things - watch a freebie movie outside. Star Wars was the feature film. LOVE Star Wars. You can tell by my Wookie-like hairy arms. Wow - never thought about having those waxed but photos generally make you think of things you ordinarily wouldn't. I even had a Chewie Lego key-charm (that's a funny story I may tell you at another time).
Even Princess Leia made an appearance

how fun!!! the other day you mentioned going to a drive-in, too. we have one not so far from my house and a few summers ago we went and had a blast. I would love to go to an outdoor theater if it wasn't so gosh darn ridiculously hot outside. rar.

The drive-in is a blast and less expensive option than the regular theatre. It's not like the old days when you had to put the speaker on your window - now you can tune the movie thru your radio plus bring your own snacks and drinks.

I never did have a chance to go to the one in Tomball, but it is still one of my fav childhood memories.

Also, Discovery Green and Hermann Park regularly show movies on the big screen. And every so often Menil will show them too. Check them out if you have time.
